Just arrived in Brisbane for the first day of the tour.
It's 5am and the first thing I see today on Facebook is guidelines about the pit lottery that has become a trademark of US arena dates where fans line up for special tickets.
The message says there is NO pit lottery for the Australian arena shows, however access to the pit is on a first-come, first-served basis.
And they even give out a warning for people not to camp overnight or line up at any particular entrance.
I have 12 hours to kill before the first gates open. And need to find the backpackers I'm staying in, get some breakfast and have a power nap before heading up to Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
